The 2011 Australian Alumni Excellence Awards were presented at an awards ceremony held in Chennai on Wednesday, August 3.

Senator the Hon Chris Evans,Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Jobs and Workplace Relations presented the awards to alumni from Australian education institutions who excelled in their studies and made an outstanding contribution in their chosen field.

The awards showcase Australia’s education excellence and the achievements of alumni across a diverse range of fields, including Art and Culture, Sports, Business Leadership, Innovation and Research, Community Service, Alumni Service and honorary felicitation.

An alumni of Bond University with an MBA in International Marketing, Ravi Lochan Singh runs a successful education service company in India to promote Overseas Education Destinations in India.Ravi Lochan Singh has been actively involved in promoting Australian education in India through his involvement with the Association of Australian Education Representatives in India [AAERI] in his role as the President of AAERI.

Ravi Lochan Singh is the Managing Director of Global Reach, a company that has been representing leading Universities from around the world for 29+ years.
