Ravi heads Global Reach which can safely claim to be the pioneer in the area of Overseas Education Consultancy in Eastern India even though GR’s footprints are across India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Australia. Ravi also has served as Elected President of AAERI for multiple terms (1999-2000)(2005-2006)(2007- 2009). (Ravi has again been elected to lead AAERI for 2011-13 and looks forward to this role at International Education’s toughest hour).

Global Reach was amongst the first to be invited to become a TRUSTED PARTNER OF THE BRITISH DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSION (GR ceased being a TP in mid 2009 and this scheme was scrapped thereafter). GR was also amongst the first group of agencies invited to market NZ in 1998 and in 2009, became the first education consultancy to be certified by AIRC to recruit students to USA.

GR was awarded by AEI for more certified (EATC) counsellors than any other agency in South Asia and also boasts for a high number of British Council certified counsellors.

Ravi and Global Reach has completed TWO DECADES of International Recruitment and Counselling in September 2011. He was also awarded by the Australian Government as the Australian Alumni for 2011.

Ravi divides his time between Kolkata and Sydney, alongwith his caring wife, Shobhna, and two lovely children (Aditeya -14+ and Akanksha-11+).
